ANDERTON BOAT LIFT - SUTTON WEAVER SWING BRIDGE  31ST AUGUST 2025  1200 - 1600 HRS  cruise duration approximately 4 hours and our coach will be waiting for you at Sutton Weaver to return you to Anderton Boat Lift car park.

On this four-hour cruise we will leave from our berth below the Anderton Boat lift on a picturesque cruise along the Weaver Navigation to our berth at Sutton Weaver.

Anderton Boat lift opened in 1875 to transfer narrow boats the 50ft between the River Weaver and the Trent & Mersey Canal - today the traffic is mainly pleasure craft. The area is a scheduled monument and award-winning visitor destination.  Our berth is just below the famous lift, we are too big to actually go on the lift, but you will get a great view of the amazing structure on this cruise. Parking for this cruise is at Anderton Boat Lift car park (CW9 6FW).  Parking charges payable.     Please note that access to the Danny berth is via a steep, step-free, path from the visitor centre and car park at the higher level.
