National Waterways Museum Ellesmere Port – Canning Dock, Royal Albert Dock Complex, Liverpool  Sunday 1st June 2025  1100 – 1600 hrs

This five-hour cruise starts where the Shropshire Union Canal joins the Manchester Ship Canal at what is now the National Waterways Museum, Ellesmere Port and we'll enter the River Mersey via the lock at Eastham.  We will pass the Tranmere Oil terminal and Cammell Laird shipyard during our cruise and you can sit back and take in the lovely Wirral and Liverpool Waterfronts whilst enjoying the sensory delights of a steamship!  A commentary will also be provided by Captain Dan Cross, the founder and driving force behind the restoration of The Danny.

We suggest you park at The National Waterways Museum car park which is free of charge and our coach will return you to your car at the end of the cruise.   There is also a rail station nearby.  All details will be on your ticket confirmation. More information on the cruise route can be found here.
